BlackBinder introduces Automatic Scroll eliminating page turning at IFOB 2019, the centennial of La Pamplonesa
Last Tuesday May, 7th 2019 we were at the press conference at Baluarte in Pamplona, Spain, to announce the Centennial of La Pamplonesa in collaboration with IFOB Pamplona and BlackBinder to use digital music scores.
The event will take place in June, from 12nd to 16th and will bring to Pamplona 80 bands from all over the world and the congress will have 500 registered people from 11 different countries.
On this press conference, several aspects were discussed. The most important was the introduction of the “paperless” concept and the innovation proposal of scores digitalization over traditional sheet music on paper or PDF. In fact, as proof of concept, BlackBinder and La Pamplonesa have agreed to use the BlackBinder App themselves with the orchestra in the IFOB Fest in the brass section using a digital sheet music App for the first time to perform live.
To wrap up the act, as icing on the cake, our dear friend and french horn genius Javier Bonet shared with us two pieces “The Swan” by Tchaikovsky and “Flight of the Bumblebee” by Korsakóv creating an incredible ambience. We can’t think of a better example of how BlackBinder enables a completely different focus in such a complex and demanding piece like “Flight of the Bumblebee”, as it is really difficult to be ready to turn a page when your fingers have to literally fly from note to note.
Concerts, conferences, master classes, parades, and exhibition fair, all part of this beautiful occasion for celebration from June 12 to June 16, don’t miss any details, follow us on Social Media for updates on BlackBinder workshops and conferences with musicians and ensembles participating who have already embedded in their DNA the use of our App.
